Last night I was getting in some late night groceries shopping.
Walked out into the hot breeze on Oxford St.
Waiting to cross the lights.
Watching with amusement a crazy old lady yelling at a young bro, calling him names and spitting on the ground.
Lady walks away.
Watch with astonishment the young bro angry at her, follow her down the street and into the middle of the road.
Watch with horror as the young bro pushes her over in traffic and spits on her and runs away.
I run over and help her up, cars driving around us.
She sways between thanking and insulting me and crying that he hurt her brain.
It's as I'm walking her to a bench off the road that I realise everybody else on the busy street just looked on and accepted an old lady being pushed over in the middle of the road.
I was the only one who cared enough to help her out.
WTF Oxford St! How dare you!?
Just the night before some bros were chasing Alts with sticks past the bus stop I was waiting at.

While Andre and Jono slept off a huge night with the Perth Massiv, the rest found these huge vibey markets near the gig in Fremantle. So cute. I bought tea. Then left it in the car whoops.

LV VS Tour part 1

Things that have happened so far on the Lost Valentinos/ Van She National Tour of Ton:

* We nearly got killed on the drive up to Brisbane when we were caught up in the Judgement Day Apocalypse. Seriously. Terminator T1000 morphed into a raging Ice Road Trucker with a death wish at 3.30am and drove all over cars and Taragos alike, while fires burnt either side of the highway, enveloping us in thick smoke, to the soundtrack of Drum's Not Dead. Yeew.

*I tried to film the above with the lens cap on. Herg.

*Pat and Nik have taken to speaking backwards. Which is fine and dandy until you about to back into a car and Nik is yelling out Ton! TON!! Or you're going the wron way on a roundabout and Pat's screaming Tefl!! Tefl!! and you're like WTF?!

* We saw a guy get beaten to a pulp by bouncers in Cooly, yelling and screaming the whole way, even when all the bones in his body must've been snapping. And when we called the police they didn't wanna hear our story at all. Corruption is rampant in QLD.

* Totally de-vibed we went back to our luscious hotel for red wine and a doobie or two and found a cupboard full of maaad videos, including a dodgy double VHS of a New Order live show and a Nick Cave tour doc from like a million BC. Got our groove back.

* Jono found his Tijuanan soul mate on a record cover

* Valentinos have towered

* Van She have cowered

My washing has been on the line for a week because I'm too scared to sneak into the neighbour's outside laundry to use their dryer after I got busted by it's angry rich Jewish owner.

My cat just came inside for dinner, looking so miserably wet and cold that I took to her with the hair dryer...she didn't love it. She's outside.
